On Preserving The Family
I know what I am about to say is not going to be well accepted amongst my peers but I feel the need to say it nonetheless.
Everyone is in an uproar over the issue of homosexual marriage and what it will do to the family. I submit to you that it is a non-issue, a smoke screen to keep our attentions diverted from what is really happening. For even after this proposal is defeated the elements that are destroying the family are still there. Once what a family is can be legislated then those in power have the ability to legislate it out of existence. But more importantly our society has been carefully structured to destroy the family. Starting with mandatory public education. The children are taken out of the home the majority of the day and who is influencing them, not the parents. Now those in charge want to make the school day and week longer so there will be even less influence from the home. Think about it people. And what about the way our work week is structured. Once employed the employer has no care if you have any time for your family. All they want is your time for their uses regardless of the needs of your family. They just want you to be their automaton. I can hear people saying,"but we have to feed and clothe our children. We have to work to do that. They must be educated..." Well, DUH! That is only obvious. What I am saying is a society that makes the family its center, the raising up people of strong moral character is better than one that focuses on production as ours does. We must stop raising workers and start raising free thinking individuals of character. Then our society will be great again and the achievements of its citizens will soar. This will not happen until we take our children back from the state. until we say no to the established system and make it revolve around what is important instead of the greed and selfishness that now propel it along.
The current state of our society is geared toward the dissolution of the family and the promised changes are only going to help it along. Only the restructuring of our society in the correct direction, not its current direction, will help save the family and ourselves. Once we understand the principles of that this country was founded on then will we be able to take the country in the direction that will save the family and the individual. Then will we see greatness again. Remember, it starts with liberty and freedom.
