It Isn't Education!
I have a friend that is a teacher. He just got his contract and it was, to say the least, horrifyingly useless. He then said something about the legislature of his state and their attitude toward education. He said he felt that they see education as some kind of socialist agenda. I thought about making a post but did not want to create such a debate in that particular forum. Perhaps I should have. Let me address the issue here and share my thoughts.
Education is NOT on the socialist agenda. That would defeat their purpose. The public school system on the other hand IS on the socialist agenda. Public schools are nothing more than training centers for future workers. Their service shall be to the state and the elite running it. Therefore, it is in their best interest that children receive the most minimum amount of education possible. Through so called laws they have managed to do just that. Making it impossible for teachers to teach and children to learn.
Nonsense, some will say. Unfortunately it is true and has been in the works for quite a long time. It is part of the communist agenda and communism and socialism are the same thing using two different means to accomplish their goals. Don't believe me, then read The Communist Manifesto. You can find it here, here, or here. The section Proletarians and Communists has the ten planks of the manifesto which show public schools on that agenda. Here is a page that asks the question Are Americans practicing Communism? It takes the ten planks of the manifesto and shows how each has been most successfully instituted in this country. The future of this country is bleak only because so many accept what is happening blindly. This would not happen to a truly educated people.

Exactly! Education is definitely not their purpose!
